Kids Kitchen Classes focus on building self-esteem and the self-confidence necessary to create delicious food while teaching the importance of following directions, safe food handling practices and food safety, placing our children on a path to a lifetime of healthier eating habits, all while having fun in a respectful and inclusive group dynamic. These classes are geared for children ages 10-12. Parents & Guardians: Please ensure your child’s hair is secured away from the face with a hair tie prior to arriving at the kitchen for class. Running shoes are required in the kitchen (please no sandals, flip flops or open-toed shoes). Please speak to the Chef if you have any questions regarding these hygiene rules prior to registering your child. Please note that our kitchen facility is NOT peanut or nut-free. Parents are welcome to remain in the kitchen gallery for the duration of the class. Your child will be served a nutritious snack at the beginning of the class during our kitchen briefing and will also eat with their peer group in a family setting in our kitchen gallery prior to being picked up – pickup is 7:00 PM sharp please).
