Menu for week of March 15 – March 20, 2021

This is going to be quite a celebratory week this week, and early reservations are highly recommended please! St. Patrick’s Day, Caveman Rob’s birthday and Fresh Market Kitchen’s First Anniversary are all happening this week! In honour of St. Paddy’s day, we are going to offer two meals for pickup this Wednesday! Firstly, we will be serving a Reheat at Home dish of Cabbage Rolls and SECONDLY offering a hot supper service of a nice warm bowl of homemade Irish Beef & Guinness Stew served with a wedge of house soda bread.

STOCK UP ON YOUR BURGER PATTIES AND CHICKEN SKEWERS:

Daylight Savings Time has arrived, which means longer daylight hours and warmer temperatures and time to BBQ – Fresh Market Kitchen is pleased to let you know that our BBQ @ Home Packs have hit our freezers and are available for pickup from our Market Kitchen. Succulent Coconut Curry Chicken Skewers (all breast meat, dairy-free and gluten-free), Triple B Burgers (beef brisket and bacon, gluten-free) and our Classic 1/2 LB Beef patties are ready! We even have frozen kaisers from our favourite Italian bakery in packs of 4 available.

All Things Bagel!

We have teamed up with The Bagel Oven based in of Beamsville, Ontario. This is a family-run business that specializes in handmade authentic Jewish bagels. Think Montreal-style bagels! These are so delicious and disappeared fast off of our shelves in their inaugural week in our Market Kitchen this week. We plan on having bagels available for purchase by the half-dozen Thursday, Friday and Saturday (while supplies last). We are also carrying their twice-baked bagel chips as well as these nuggets of deliciousness known as “Stuffed Twists”. Their Stuffed Twists are available in three flavours: Raisin OR Cinnamon Bun OR Chocolate Chip. To complement your bagels, we are also offering European cream cheese, homemade Meyer Lemon marmalade and, beginning this week, our delicious homemade garlic hummus. We will be able to offer preorders IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE for your bagels, stuffed twists, bagel chips and cream cheese on our website for pickup from our Market Kitchen Saturdays, as we will be picking up our bagels on a Friday for the weekend rush. In the meantime, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (while supplies last), you will be able drop-in to our Market Kitchen and purchase what we pick up on Wednesday – that’s right…bagels twice a week fresh to our Market Kitchen!!

Update on Favourite Chef Competition:

As you may know, Chef Casey had been hand-selected for the opportunity to compete for a shot at $50,000, a two-page magazine feature and the title of Favourite Chef 2021.
