Pre-orders for our lunches and suppers are always recommended; as you know, we have a zero food-waste policy here in the kitchen, and Chef Casey personally shops for and hand picks every single ingredient for use in our kitchen, buying only what is necessary for that week’s menu and a bit extra in case of last minute orders. But that’s it…when it’s gone, it is gone. To avoid disappointment, please feel free to reserve your dishes early – not only does it ensure you get the meal you are looking for; it also helps with our meal prep and shopping trips.

All Things Bagel!

We hope you are enjoying the handmade bagels we are carrying from The Bagel Oven based in Beamsville, Ontario. This is a family-run business that specializes in handmade authentic Jewish bagels. Think Montreal-style bagels! To complement your bagels, we are also offering European cream cheese and delicious homemade hummus. Chef Casey makes her hummus with dried chick peas and the highest quality tahini available. If you know you’d like a larger volume of bagels for the week ahead, please get in touch asap so we can preorder those for you from The Bagel Oven and have them delivered fresh to our kitchen just for you for pickup Saturday. New Item! Did you know we are now carrying Nosh? What is Nosh, you ask? Nosh is Fresh Market Kitchen’s version of charcuterie to go – packaged in reusable and recyclable sturdy plastic containers, packed full of quality meat, cheese, housemade pickled veggies, fresh fruit, dried fruit…you get the idea. We are currently making 3 varieties – Meat & Cheese Nosh (GF), Vegetarian Nosh (GF) and Bagel Nosh (includes our delicious European cream cheese, homemade hummus and 3 mini bagels). Coming soon is a Breakfast Nosh From Scratch (homemade blueberry pancakes, housemade sausage patty and real maple syrup). Grab N Go Lunch Sandwich – Today’s fresh sandwich will be Ham and cheese or Roast beef and cheese (as supplies last) on delicious Challah bread made by The Bagel Oven.

Wednesday, April 14, 2021: Take and Bake this evening (4:00 – 6:00 PM) We are offering TWO dish choices this evening

Beef Shepherd’s Pie (GF)

Perfectly seasoned Ontario beef, homemade creamed corn, topped with garlic mashed potato and a dusting of parmigiano cheese. All you have to do is put it in the oven to warm it through. Beefy and heartwarming!!

WE ARE OFFERING A SECOND TAKE AND BAKE THIS EVENING:

Oven ready! Heat At Home “Pizza” Penne Pasta Bake: Penne pasta with Italian sausage, pepperoni and sweet red pepper in a homemade San Marzano tomato sauce topped with more sausage, more pepperoni and Jensen’s Cheddar/Mozz blend cheese. (Bake at home 350F @ 20-30 mins)

We will be baking butter tarts this Saturday for you to purchase beginning at roughly 11:30 am until sold out.  (Sorry, but no preorders for butter tarts will be taken.)
